Fall guys was one of the games that had instant success on its launch. The success came because of many YouTubers playing and steaming this game. The game seemed fun to everyone. Everyone was talking about this game. There was nobody that didn't know fall guys. But suddenly this game vanished.

Why did it happen? What was the reason? Were Developers to blame? Let's find out.

Why did it rise in the First Place?

Fall Guys first trailer was released on Jun 10, 2019. It didn't make much attention then but the rise started on its release on 04 August 2020. Many factors helped in the rise of fall guys. The Game was simple all you had to do is survive till last. It was very fun and was a party game to play with your friends and family. Streamers started playing and streaming it and they bought thousands of views and then many big YouTubers like Pewdiepie, Markiplier, and Mr. Beast played it too. Many people saw them and because they were bored they had to try this game so from here the rise of fall guys began.

Quarantine was another big factor as people had nothing to do, they saw their favorite YouTuber play this game, they became obsessed and played it too.

How did it Start to Die if everything was going well?

The developer didn't quite know that this many people would be joining this game. Their servers started to cause issues but it didn't bother the players so much. Soon they fixed many of the server errors

Fall Guys didn't have an Xbox and Switch release because of the contract they signed with PlayStation. Players of those platforms were begging to get a release on their platform. From this issue, they never got the millions of players of those platforms.

Except for those problems fall guys was very much a success with no problems.

How it fell apart then?

It all happened because of the hacker pandemic. With the game gaining popularity hackers started to join too. These hackers ruined the whole game. Even a hacker in one game could ruin the fun for others. These hackers could fly and run fast with these abilities it was impossible to win against them. People started reporting hackers but guess what, The devs responded to that saying that this is not true and there could be no hackers because their anti-cheat system is good enough to prevent hackers from hacking the game. They disabled the report button leaving legit players struggling against the hackers.

Hackers being of the main reason and the second reason being that the devs never updated it. The game modes were the same, the maps were the same. This cost fall guys lose replayability and once you played it like 20 times it got boring plus the problem of the hackers.

That was it because people got bored of this game they had to move on to another game and that game was among us. Among Us rose the same way as fall guys did but the difference was it didn't rose on its release date. Because of Youtubers now playing among us, it gained attention leaving fall guys in the dust.
